RPRT14 | TUNE out the Noise, Stick to your art, and DO IT! (w/ Sean Carter)

While most kids were perfecting their dodgeball skills, this week’s guest, director Sean Carter, was dodging clichés and learning his way around cameras and all the film books he could consume.

Sean shares with hosts Mike and Lance how he transitioned from backyard Spielberg to film school prodigy, where he made friends in dark editing bays – the kind of friends who eventually call you up for a studio film gig in Greece. You know, as friends do.

It’s a deep dive into the mind that brought us “Keep Watching” and the much-anticipated “Wake,” his views on creating a narrative that grips you whether you're at a prestigious film festival or squished in the sticky seats of your favorite multiplex, and all of the career highs and low’s that don’t quite make the director’s cut.

If you're a fan of horror or just love a good behind-the-scenes tale, this episode is one for you.
